Aschmann: Over fifteen years experience
in technical and general translations from and to Japanese. Translations
of technical books include subjects such as electronics, fuzzy systems,
cognitive science, fine ceramics, information science, audio technology
and neural networks. Other areas of translation expertise include power
technology, alternative energy technology, nuclear technology, space and
aeronautics, science and technology policy, information processing and telecommunications.
Related experience includes literary and technical writing, directing university
level English as a Second Language programs, and serving as a liaison between
Japanese and U.S. institutions. Naoko Hoshi Aschmann:
Primarily engaged in research activities, but also heads up English to
Japanese translation operations. Ten years direct experience in translation
operations with more in languages. Areas of expertise include general
business communications, music, banking and finance. Other experience
